The views are always, well, cosmic

An excellent nuts-and-bolts sf duology about near-future/near-Earth space exploration, even if Suarez is channeling Elon Musk for Nathan Joyce, right down to the nadir of Musk’s moral compass. Doesn’t mean he’s wrong. The second book is a satisfying conclusion that wraps up [almost] all of the dangling plot lines left at the end of the first. Good science, good characterization, and the views are always, well, cosmic.
