Here endeth Tanya Huff’s Torin Kerr series (5 books beginning with Valor’s Choice and continuing with her Peacekeeper trilogy, this one are being the last one (if you’ve read the books you’ll see what I did there). I envy you if you haven’t yet read them because you’re in for a real treat—these books are so smart and so funny, with great characters with some of the best realized aliens in SF, seriously good dialogue, and fast, excellent plotting, including the over-arching plot so satisfyingly concluded here. We mighta known.
Strongly recommended, if only for Sector Center News ace reporter Presit a Tur de Valentrisy, one of the great comedic inventions of fiction. And not forgetting the Dornagain names. Go, read, enjoy! I sure did, and will again, because these books remain forever on my shelf.

Love Torin Kerr! And all the species around her, including her fine feathered friend. Mysteries and PNR are not my favorite genre, so Huff’s exploration of those worlds were not as enjoyable for me. The Quarters was good.
She writes aliens so well.
I love all her books. She also writes great and funny fantasy series. I highly recommend her Summon the Keeper trilogy.
