“Attaching some exciting photos of a proof of mailing we did in the office today!”
[First of all: “Proof of mailing.” Heh.]
That’s the ARC (advanced reading copy) going out to a select few book reviewers and bloggers (“few” because ARCs are even more expensive to print than the finish print copies you will see in bookstores). Pretty snazzy, what with the plain brown wrapper jazzed up by the ribbon and the sticker. Included with the ARC is a letter I wrote to the reviewers at Zoe’s request that she prettied up and that you will be able to see and read here when it posts later this month.*
*Which you would have already seen if you

had joined the Danamaniacs. Tsk.
I mean I’d tear into that come-hither package as soon as it dropped into my hot little hands and I wrote the damn thing.
