Carl Sagan humanized science, where here Levesque is humanizing scientists, employing an engaging, conversational prose style that talks to the reader, not down to them. Informed, anecdotal, she has rounded up what feels like all the best stories about the human side of astronomy (how to sleep with tarantulas would be my favorite) while inspiring real excitement in the art and craft of stargazing as she goes. Funny and smart. Recommended.
