Harvey Girl NewsSo, the bad news is publication day of the second Harvey Girl novel has been pushed back, to November 2, 2027 in the US and November 4, 2027 in the UK/Commonwealth. The good news is that The Iron Trail is looking better every day, with a lot of new characters I’m thoroughly enjoying, including an ex-Harvey Girl turned rustler, a Jicarillo Apache warrior whom Clare finds almost too attractive for her own good, and a horse named Molly.  #inmygarden 2026            And "Th-th-that’s all folks!" for the #inmygarden posts for this year. Honestly, after a snowless winter and a spring that stayed below freezing at night as long as it possibly could (it snowed on May 31st), I was relieved just to see green, never mind the buds and blooms. The tiger lilies budded but would. not. open. I don’t think they trust me anymore. The yard art in the last photo above right visited in numbers that expanded geometrically over last year and they taste tested everything and I mean everything. Ah well. The great thing about gardening is there is always next year.   A 2nd Edition of No Stars is in the works!This collection of my reviews of other people’s books will republish in January and will include all the reviews I wrote in 2026 and published on Book Review Monday. There are some fun reads there so don’t miss out! If you’ve already bought the book, it should automatically update to the second edition within a few days after publication, which will be January 16th.  It’s been a year. In fact, it’s been two. I appreciate your patience in the extended wait for the second Harvey Girl novel. It’ll be worth it, I think, especially as Clare is on horseback for a lot of it.
