The Royal Sunset lilies are lacking their usual lush splendor, but at least they bloomed. There was a cow with two calfs this year who simply delighted in tromping all over the rock garden and taste testing everything in reach.


All three of the Thunderhead sedum in the Duchess’s garden came back.


And the Songbird columbine takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

And that’s probably it for #inmygarden this year. Thanks for following along! Honestly I’m just grateful anything made it through last winter and spring. Except for the horsetail, which never met a cold snap it didn’t like. Why don’t the moose eat those?
