I was sorting through the pantry and this surfaced.
There was dust on the top and I thought “Hmmm.” Then I turned it over to look at the sell-by date.
Trump wasn’t even in office for the first time yet.
And before you ask, no. That can has been permanently retired.

I’m actually glad someone else finds that kind of stuff in a cabinet. The medicine cabinet is another place to find expired things.
I’m about to clean out the cabinet I use for herbs and spices and I just know there are items in there from the last century.
And you are right.
Cans of pumpkin can’t even get comfortable in the pantry around here. We have pumpkin year round, but the pie is Thanksgiving only. The Big Lug loves it straight from the freezer.
This probably sounds like heresy to you but Costco makes a very good pumpkin pie. Great for breakfast.
