The Golden Queen trollius have finally begun to bloom…
…the El Dorado grass is finally beginning to grow, and…
…the Royal Sunset lilies, what few there are, are in bud!

The Rock Garden

The dianthus made it!
And so did the Songbird columbine!
And the Lady’s Mantle is collecting dew again.

The Duchess’s Garden

Savaged last winter by the rabbits, these two baby spruces…
…are determined to thrive.

Meanwhile, inside the kitchen window…

…that’s it for the basil.


But it was a good little producer while it lasted!
