Hallelujah! A Vision Violet geranium finally showed up.Along with the first Himalayan poppy!The Alabaster trollius are starting to pop.This lilac iris showed up last year.And a two-fer–the Siberian iris (thanks for the ID, Gene!) and a Ruffled Velvet iris that is blooming for the first time since I planted it four years ago.And we’ll go out on the Lilies of the valley. Even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like these.
Just beautiful! It’s amazing what our different climates allow. I’m trimming some plants back, waiting for others, and finding new ones to plant. You’re enjoying the beginnings of you wonderful short season in majestic Alaska! 💜
