All writing is difficult. The most you can hope for is a day when it goes reasonably easily. Plumbers don’t get plumber’s block, and doctors don’t get doctor’s block; why should writers be the only profession that gives a special name to the difficulty of working, and then expects sympathy for it? –Philip Pullman
Hear, hear. It’s the job. Extract digit and get on with it.

Legend says that Isaac Azimov once had writer’s block. It was the worst ten minutes of his life.
Almost every group I speak to, someone asks me if I’ve ever had writer’s block. I try very hard not to snort and/or roll my eyes.
I miss Kate
Delighted to hear it! She’ll be back.
I used to get editor’s block when I was producing award segments and the like. There was the voiceover, sitting there and I couldn’t find the right video to cover it.
