A better description of the Internet you will never find. Everything is there and it never goes away.

For example.

I was looking for a name for the Protestant church in Montaña Roja in The Harvey Girl, so I searched “fun names for Protestant churches” and literally the first thing beneath all the AI crap was a link to Cole-Slaw, Mr. Neil Cole’s page.

On this post he has assembled a fine collection of church names, with commentary, such as

Hell For Certain is a church in Kentucky but for some reason they do not have too many visitors, no one wants to go there.”

Even better, his readers weighed in with more in the comments below. Only one example:

There is a church in Durham, NC called The New Aggressive Church of Deliverance. It just leaves me w/ so many questions.

Me, too. I also found a page which explains that having a funny name will make your church feel more friendly and approachable, with instructions and examples.

In my novel the church in question receives one mention very much in passing.

This is why writers so often miss their deadlines.
