Almost there…Yesterday The Harvey Girl went to my beta reader, next week it goes to Head of Zeus, and on February 28, 2025 it falls into your hot little hands. I’ve got three books planned for the series (so far) and this first one is set in the fictional town of Montaña Roja in the wide open New Mexico Territory. You can find it below on the book’s map, made by Cherie and Thom Northon. At least they spelled Sangre de Cristo correctly on it, which I mispelled four–4!–times in the first draft. Fortunately there is Command+F and Replace All. (Where did that H come from?)

They stood there, locked together, unmoving. His breath was rapid in her ear. She turned her lips to his throat, sucking at the beat of his blood in the vein there. He half laughed, half groaned. “Nice to see you, too.” Yes, Apollodorus is back, she says, fanning herself.
#inmygardenThese are known in Alaska as pink pussytoes, but I looked them up on the US Forest Service website where they call ’em Rosy pussytoes. Tomato, tomahto. They’re so cute and so weird and virtually indestructible in any weather. They’re in my Alaska wildflower garden, which is now so crowded that I’m going to have to dig it out and divide and replant. Oh joy. More photos from #inmygarden here.
