Photos from the Atlantic Monthly of Chinese solar panel installations.

From left, hillside solar, rooftop solar, even livestock pen solar.

Herb farms growing beneath solar panel installations, a solar panel installation over an aquatic farm built over a land subsidence caused by coal mining, and a herd of deer passing a solar array in a nature preserve.
Extraordinary photographs, but what is even more extraordinary is the commitment the Chinese have made to alternative energy. See all the photographs here.
I remember my friend Jeannie took a cruise down the Danube some years ago and came back with eyes the size of salad plates. “They had solar panels on every roof,” she said, “even the chicken coops!”
And then she went and put solar panels on her own. Me, too.

We are getting solar installed next month. I can’t wait. Even my husband Apple PC has a solar powered keyboard.
