I traveled to Egypt in December 2019 for research for the Eye of Isis series, set in Alexandria in the time of Cleopatra.

The [new] Great Library of Alexandria. That’s Ptolemy I out front, he whose idea the first library was. You can create your own bookshelf on their website and they are on their way to digitizing their entire collection.
