Still on the road, researching the second Harvey Girl novel, this was spotted in the parking lot of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

A purple Subaru Forester, ladies and gentlemen. Plus…it’s irridescent.
Inside the IPCC there is a cafe where they serve the most delicious Indian taco you will ever eat in your life.

Excuse me, I’m having a private moment.
I should also say that the exhibit that walks the visitor through the history of the Pueblo peoples is one of the most beautifully crafted, collected, and curated I have ever had the privilege of of enjoying. Every item has been carefully chosen and placed in context to help tell their story. Go see it if you’re in the neighborhood.
Still a few copies of the signed first edition hardcover here.

Have you been to the Cameron Trading Post yet? Lots of Diné history, gifts and really good Navajo tacos. We used to go there once a year to get gifts to send to Hawaii. I got a pair of pawn earrings, too.
