I traveled to Egypt in December 2019 to do research for my Eye of Isis novels, which are set in Alexandria in the time of Cleopatra.

Why, I believe that is a square knot tying the lotus of Upper Egypt and the papyrus of Lower Egypt together. (Luxor Temple)

Is it just me or does it give anyone else a rush to recognize a knot you’ve tied yourself in a carving on the wall of a 3000-year old temple?
